Back onboard!

Edwin and George at the helm, cruising up the Florida coast.

Vingilótë did well at the Miami boat show, attracting many admirers. Then she went to Ft Lauderdale for a few days, to do demo/training sails. Today we are taking up to her temporary home further north, where she will remain until summer when we take her down through the Panama Canal and from there up to SEATTLE!

There are no words to describe how happy I am to be here, onboard and on the water, with my beloved husband and a couple friends, sailing!

The wind isn’t cooperating- it’s dead set against the Gulf Stream, which makes for large, irregular and choppy waves. We’d planned a trip to Bimini this weekend but in this weather it would not be fun, so we’ll just day sail around Florida. Then back home to see Colin!

I’ve missed sailing with my girl. Every day on the water is a good day.
