Port St Charles

Port St Charles
Port St Charles at sunset. Far too beautiful to be real.

Bizzy graciously offered us moorage in the beautiful marina of Port St Charles, to charge up our batteries and refill our water tanks. This place is chock-full of yachts and superyachts of all flavors. Vingilótë was in good company.

Vingilótë arriving in Port St Charles marina. The wind appear mild. It was not. Dunbar did some champion driving to get us safely parked.

In the afternoon Rory, Edwin and I walked down to the lovely village of Speightstown, also known as Little Bristol, where much of Barbados’s sugar industry was housed during colonial times. It was Sunday, so not many of the shops were open, but we found a gorgeous beach bar for lunch and a few drinks.

Hey guys, why not stop over in St Maarten on your way north and join us in the fun CMC regatta February 13 to 16.
Would love to see the Balance.
Contact me if you need anything in Sxm.
    Cheers and good sailing.

Would love to Petro but we have to get Vingilótë up to Florida, she’s being shown at the Miami Boat Show that weekend.

Looks totally fake. You photoshopped that image, right?
