Vingilótë is hull #7 of the Balance 526. It incorporates 100+ changes from hull #6, some from previous owners, some from delivery skippers, some from discussions with the designers, Phil Berman, Anton du Toit, and Jonathan Paarman, some from being there a lot during construction and looking at how things were turning out, and many, many discussions with Roger Paarman.
A very big noticeable thing is the new, now standard, cockpit layout, with a bench seat for two at the upper and lower helm positions, with the upper helm position for us able to fold up to handle the lines and the three winches at the helm, mounted below the cockpit roof.
She also features a table you can fold out to be wider, or lower to make a bit mosh pit, and a chaise longue behind the lower helm position.
We love the layout. It’s spacious, it provides enormous amounts of sitting, eating, lounging space. It looks great.
