It’s good to be aboard again. We’re taking Vingilótë over the course of two days to Shilshole marina, and back mid next week. The weather forecast runs up to 30 knots out of the Strait of Juan de Fuca (the hundred mile connection from Puget Sound to the Northern Pacific Ocean), so a lot of fetch. And, by the time we get there, current will be going out, against the wind. It’ll be ugly: sharp edged waves of 6’ right on the Bram against the current in 30 knots of wind.
Still, it’s happymaking to be back aboard and sit here in the saloon.
