The awesome Antam roller cleats

We tried to remove from the boat as much of the shiny bits as possible. Shiny bits need to remain shiny and I’m not fond of shining ‘em.

The stanchions are carbon fiber, the railing Spectra cord, the steering wheel carbon fiber, the chafe plates carbon fiber. And the cleats are something else, because, apart from normally being shiny, they also have the horns sticking up. I tore one perfectly good offshore boot on one and bruised on or tripped over them numerous times. And then there is the errant catching lines on them unintended.

So we replaced them with Antam roller cleats. Black coated, and they roll down to close them. Very neat.
