Winter sailing

Winter sailing

I love waking up on Vingilótë. Sleeping under way is best because of the rocking motion, but closely followed by being at anchor or even tied up. First of all the bed is super comfortable, and the view that meets my eyes when I first open them is the rising sun hitting the masts of the marina to starboard, glowing like golden spires.

It’s about 27 degrees this morning, and the decks are covered with frost, see my footprints? But it’s a gorgeous, sunny day, I have plenty of warm clothes and a big mug of hot coffee, so all is well. Let’s go sailing!
